Hi there,

I seem to have picked up the bug the child I was working had. All weekend I have had a really sore throat, and generally just don't feel well. I seem to ache everywhere, not bad but really annoying. I am trying to get on but it'd taking me ages to get things done as I am so tired. I feel if I lie down to it, I will get worse so I am trying to keep busy. I have my coal fire on so that is cheering me up and my Christmas tree looks lovely, I just wish I felt better.
Thanks for listening Lorna x Smile

Hi Lorna

First, have you been to see the GP? If not, you really should as he/she may want you to stop your drugs until the bug has gone.

Hope yous oon feel better

Hi Lorna

Hope you feel better soon. If it lasts more than a couple of days do get in touch with the docs in case the meds are affecting progress.

You have spurred me on ... Christmas Tree ... send other half up the stairs tomorrow to dig out the Christmas stuff. That's what I will do on Wednesday, put up the tree!!

Keep warm, take it easy Lorna,

Lyn x

Hello Lorna

I hope you are feeling much better now. Not sure where is Scotland
you live but I do hope you are not snowed in.

Inside is certainly the place to be at the moment.

HI Everyone,

I do feel slightly better, my throat is still a bit sore but the aches have gone. I don't feel as unwell as I did yesterday, I did not take my MTX this Saturday as I felt it would make me worse so all going well I will take it on Friday this week. I have not been over the doorstep since Friday, It's so cold and snowy . You were right Kathleen the coat would have been more sensible. Blackpool was really cold. BigGrin

Heather you asked if I have snow, well we have a foot high of snow, it looks really pretty but cold. Our cars are snowed in, you have to see this, they will have to be dug out. It's still snowing, they say at least for the next few days. All the schools are closed and it's debatable if my daughter will get home from Norway tomorrow. My middle daughter is out seeing her sister and is due to fly home tomorrow, but Edinburgh airport was closed to all flights this morning. Plus my older daughters fiancé is stuck in Germany due to the snow there.

Thank you for the replies. Lorna xx

Hello again,

Well I do feel better and my throat is fine now. But isn't it cold. We have so much snow it's amazing, there has not been this amount in years. My daughter did not get home, her flight was cancelled until Friday, again weather permitting. It's fine though as she is with her sister so they have a few more days together. The sky is still full and every time my husband clears the snow it snows again.

We have icicles around the roof of my conservatory, the last time I saw them was in Norway last year and it was very cold at that time too. About to make a mug of hot chocolate and join my youngest by our coal fire. It's never been off this last week. Keep warm everyone. Take care Lorna xx
